Although the weather has not been fantastic, the spring has been a huge success for Anna’s Wish.  We seem to be getting word out and have had so many individuals and groups assisting with the charity.  People have been donating time, services, offering to do fundraisers, and truly, anything that we need help with.  Each and every gesture means the world to us.  Just so that you all know, behind the scenes we are working hard.  If you have donated recently, you will have hopefully noticed how fast you get your donation letter.  We also send letters to family members if donations are given ‘in honor’ of someone else so that they know money with given on behalf of their loved one.  Also, we continue to help families effected by cancer.  Just recently, we provided a boy being treated with a gift that his family could not afford and now he can ‘play’ with his friends in the hospital.  Another family was given a pass to the Seneca Park Zoo and yet another child was provided with a wig so he could feel ‘normal’ during his treatments.

All of this is not possible without you, as we are completely funded by donations and gifts from the community.  We have been able to stick to our promise, that 100% of funds that are donated go to families and this will continue.  No contribution will ever go to administrative costs.  Thank you so much, there are other fundraisers coming up, please check out facebook or twitter for up to the minute information.
