Jessie and I were speechless with the amount of support we received during Anna’s services. We aren’t sure how we got through it, but are fairly certain it was from the love and caring from friends and family and Anna’s fighting spirit. Thank you. And thank you to all who have sent memories, I will be responding as soon as I find the strength.
Anna’s Wish is moving forward, the paperwork has been filed with the State and the IRS, so we will be officially incorporated within the week. Stay tuned for updates and thank you for supporting Anna’s Wish.
I’ve received some good news today. Rather than dealing with checks made out to Anna McKinney v. Anna’s Wish, we have been given approval to make all checks payable to the charity, Anna’s Wish. A bit of good news in the midst of all the pain. Thank you all so much for the support and love for Anna.
Thank you to everyone that has shown interest in Anna’s charity. I have been working frantically to to set this up over the last two weeks, while spending my time with my Anna. I wanted to have official 501(c)(3) non-profit status by the time this happened, but it did not play out like I thought.
If you do not feel comfortable making donations to Anna McKinney which will be deposited immediately, feel free to put Anna’s Wish. Just know it may take a month or so to get all the paperwork filed and a bank account opened before checks made out to the charity can be deposited. Rest assured, every cent will be used towards gifts for families and not a penny less.

Anna’s passing today is without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever gone through. I love her with all of my heart and will never be able to replace the piece that is now missing. However, today also begins the new chapter…Anna’s legacy. Please help support this organization so the values and lessons Anna taught will live forever.
